Saint Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia and is also known as the cultural capital of the country. It is the place where lived many famous writers, as well as characters of their works, for instance, Alexander Pushkin's Evgeniy Onegin and characters from Fyodor Dostoevsky's “Crime and Punishment”.
